Obama being a lawyer and Mr. Eloquence himself, who is favoured 10-1 to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee around an aging Maverick failed miserably to deliver a knock-out punch but still managed to win a unanimous decision.
On the other hand McCain maintained a confident look and took the opportunity to capitalize on his military background and lifetime experience and involvement in many major successful foreign policy in Bosnia, Kosovo, Vietnam and opposition to Reagan's failed Lebanon mission. Obama looked humbled by the amount of experience.
Although despite his lack of experience and muscle as McCain has expertly displayed, Obama have held himself as knowledgeable in all facets of policies presented.
But when the show is over and the actual words digested, Obama scored a unanimous decision 10-1 in substance and specific policies.
1. He was right in opposing the war in Iraq.
2. He was right that the real war should have been with Al Q'aida in Afghanistan.
3. He was right that the current financial meltdown at Wall Street is the result of Republican refusal for any regulation that has rewarded CEO'S of greed who drove these institutions to the this mess.
4. He was right that America has lost it's credibility and respect in the international community as a result of 8 years of Bushism of which McCain has supported 90% of the time.
5. He was right to review the fundamentals of Wall Street and improve the lives of Main Street.
6. He is right that after the calculation of each presented tax plans, the one that will benefit most are the rich and corporations.
7. He was right that most of major policies in America are influenced by powerful lobbyist
of corporations who rewards politicians for pushing their agendas at the expense of the working ,middle class of America.In the end, despite his slogans and half-truth ,McCain is still a continuation of the last 8 years that have led to the current dire state of the most powerful nation on earth.
