It was a record breaking sale for one of the lottery games yesterday to bank in on the Chinese fortune cookie number 8.Actually there are equally good things about the number 8 in the West as well.
The chemical symbol for oxygen, thus life, is written similar to no. 8.
The number 8 is also symbol to infinity, eternal youth?
It is also expressed as in a good sex - "that was Gr-8!"
Although, a bit of irony for those who rushed to marriage yesterday as in the English language it is pronounced as "Oh Wait - Oh Wait -Oh Wait!"

The Beijing Olympics officially openned and it was - simply stunning, breathtaking spectacle that even it's harshest critics will agree, it was quite a show that will be hard to match.
