  • On Golden Pond, Alberta Canada, Saudi North

The once pristine lakes of Alberta, Canada, once the paradise of Canada's national symbol, the Canadian geese, wild ducks and fowls has now turned into a more lucrative, new found wealth in the dirty sands that lie beneath is one of earths largest deposit of tar sands, processed into synthethic oil, making Canada one of the biggest oil exporting countries, now a thrillion dollar economic gold for the world's richest province, the Saudi-North, Alberta Canada.

As people from all over Canada and the rest of the world migrate for jobs
and livelihood in Saudi North, the once permanent residents of Neil Young's golden pond, Canada's proud geese, find alienation and death to its thousands as their home of clear, unpolluted lakes have turned into slimy toxic deadly black gold!

What's more important? The livelihood of the people or these birds?

    DUCKS
"... the lake used to be here????"

    oiled-bird
" thought i'd try an oil bath!"

    survivor
    "am i worth saving?"

Ahh, here is one luvly Portugese-Canadian songbird that's here to stay, Nelly Furtado's,
    " I'M LIKE A BIRD,
i DON'T KNOW WHERE MY HOME IS..."

  • The Biron Wall, the Habs (Les Canadiens) On the Brink

The Montreal Canadiens, which now became the national team that the whole nation is routing for, is the only Canadian team left in the Stanley Cup Playoffs is facing elimination tonight at 7:00PM at what maybe the last "go HABS go" cheering at the Bell Center, the pubs all over Canada and the country's television sets.

The Canadiens is the better team of the two, outshooting the Philadelphia Flyers 2 to 1, they outskate the slow, big bad Flyers, they outplay them in passes, good plays and they deserve to win against the Flyers.

But why then, they are at this situation on the brink of elimination? Partly because of the non consistent play of superstar Kovalev, stupid penalties of Begin and others, non screen shots on goals, few rebounds,
non crowding of the goalie, precision and powerful shots on goal not the goalie, Price, the young Canadien goalie knees must not buckle but the real obstacle for the HABs remains "da BIRON WALL", Philadelphia Flyers'
    Martin Biron.

    da wall-2
"deep inside, i wanna be a baseball catcher!"

    biron wall
    "follow da puck!"

    wall-3
    "break-away? NO PROBLEMO!"

And to quote from Ronald Reagan of that historic moment:
"Mr Kovalev, break down this wall!"
We hope to see another history tonight in the most watched show in planet Canada!

See you tonight, oopppss gotta get my case of MOLSON beer and chips now!
    gohabsgo!
