When I was a young boy, during the time of Coca-Cola iceboxes and jukeboxes, juicy fruit gum and baberuth candies, I also loved Marvel Comics and the like, which actually influenced me in drawing and illustrations as I drew all the super heroes as Superman and Batman, I also only read the comics section when my Dad get his Sunday paper. My mom used to subscribe The Reader's Digest and I only read one section there which was Laughter is the Best Medicine. Another Section in the Sunday papers I never missed was Ripley's Believe it or Not.

Life has changed much since then, in today's 5 seconds attention span, nothing much is treasured anymore, there were no longer James Dean, Maryln Monroe, Brando, Sinatra and Doris Days, we have hollow Spears, Lohans and Timberlakes. My superheroes are now computer generated fantasies, they were real too me when they were handrawn. I miss those days and most of these treasured pieces do not appear in the Sunday paper no more....

until this gentleman came along blogland, tirelessly giving us back our daily dose of laughter, some memorabilias, spectacular images that remind us that despite it all ...

"it's still a wonderful world!"
