Patrick Roy or King Patrick as they nicknamed him in Colorado, USA,is a living legend as one of best if not the best ever goalie in the NHL (National Hockey League) but also known for his legendary temper. It seems the King PATRICK II, Jonathan Roy has already broken his father's record, not in the number of saves, but in the number of punches thrown on the ice. Patrick Roy is the owner and coach and his son,Johnathan Roy is the goalie for Quebec Ramparts Junior League team, shook this hockey nation with his sensational display of violence on ice, crossing the blue line, shook loose from the referee, assaulted the non-involved,throwing at least 15 punches on the defenseless goalie of the other team, Chicoutimi.
He lifted the middle finger to the booing crowd as he skated back to the bench after he floored the other goalie and managed to brawl another player before exiting the ice. Video tapes showed his father and coach, did not instruct him to avoid the incidence and may have even encouraged it.
Both father and son face a minor seven game suspension and a minor fines
penalties.
