    Every good Friday, the Passion of the Christ is played in the Philippines-
    LIVE!

    Many penitents volunteers to be nailed on the cross (REAL) for the absolution of their sins. The Vatican does not accept this practice. The Philippines is the only predominantly Catholic nation in South-east Asia, ruled by Spain for 400 years who brought Catholicism and name the country after King Philipp of Spain in the 1600.
