I have to admit it is the first time i paid close attention to her, me kidz knows her more... dahhh, but i was really impressed
of her performance last night, dunno if it's beamed in the UK.
That was just an awesome sing and together with all the horns it was beautiful music, kinda Motown but not quite, a bit of rock,
jazz, soul ... just brilliant music!
'Dunno if she really wants to sort out her drugs and her non conforming ways as it forms part of her image packaging. She may not be as marketable if she sobers up, but i agree with you, so many young celebrities have ruined their lives and some did not make it. Hope not, because this girl is a talented artist!-

I agree with sweetymon..I love that album..but whoda thought herbie hancock , I need to check that one out, I used to listen to him way way back when I was in my teens and listening to *modern jazz* I used to love all that, Weather Report were the first band I went to see.
God I'm old Its a tribute to Joni so it must be good? Hope you are well and enjoying your Monday

Have posted a couple of Amy's 'rehab' videos [there are several] in my neilemac YouTube account; my original intention had been to embed a player with a playlist of her songs on one of my sites.
However, I met this amazing kid the same day and became enamoured with his sound; have you heard of Paola Nutini???

Haven't heard Herbie's album of Joni Mitchell's music though, saw a blurb on the noon CBC tv news. Am going to seek it out for a listen.
