Today was a balming +8degC!!
Most of the 8 foot high mountain of snow in everybody's lawn have melted quite a bit today,
beautiful - yeah right!! ,
So all the sidewalks and the streets turned into shallow streams. It's really fun driving especially when you pass the  big trucks on the opposite lane or some crazy guy speeding overpasses you and splash all the muddy water on your windscreen, worst you run out of windshield washer on the expressway and nowhere to stop and drives peeking through a small clear spot on your windshield!! God I love this weather!
All this water though will freeze overnight as the temp plummets to -14C,
meaning tomorrow, most tires will be spinning laterally rather than forward.
I think I'll ice-skate to work tomorrow!

As I was smoking my cig on a sunny day at -16C, windchill incl. -28, a beautiful day (if you are a penguin!) I was thinking of the now total ban on smokes in this province, including pubs, cafes, restos and even strip joints (poor strippers!!).

And on government buildings and medical health care centers you have to smoke at a distance of about 30 feet from the entrance doors, which perpendicularly is just about the middle of the street!!!!

I was just wondering if that was really planned to get rid of smokers for good as they drain the medicare system with cigarette related deseases?

We always blast laughing whenever we go to the States from Montreal and passed by the town of COXSUCKIE, New York between Albany and Buffalo NY. It is in fact a very charming community of the old Victorian flavour. Sometimes names can be deceiving!!

There is another town in Quebec, just 1h from Montreal called ST. CLIT (Ste. Clet in French), I know her name maybe the way to heaven, but actually being a Roman Catholic, I've never heard any St. CLIT being cannonized. Again, this small community off the city of Montreal is a beautiful place for equestrian sports, calm, unpolluted lakes and camping grounds.

There was a very popular former member of the Quebec National Assembly and I beleive was a Secretary of the State in the former government whose name is "FUCK ALL".

As a matter of fact, currently I'm working with an Engineer Project Manager whose last name is "Kock"!

can be worse: That's almost as bad as being named MIKE HUNT!

Young, articulate, supported by Oprah and Celebrities Inc., whose foreign policy experience was living with his Dad in Hawaii and South-east Asia. Will the silver tongue enough to be in charge of the biggest military arsenal in the universe? MaCain? A war hero in Vietnam, believes in sending more troops in Iraq to win the war. Nah!!
