Growing up in the '70s was unlike any other generation of which I am proud to be part of. If even today, the top 3 songs played in rock stations are Let it Be, Hey Jude by the Beatles and Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones prove the lasting legacy of that generation. The Vietnam War as a watermark, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, Dylan, Motownn, Tom Jones, Woodstock, Twiggy, Mini-skirts, bell bottoms, Jane Fonda, long hair, pot, hippies, Nixon, Charlie's Angels -the original, James Bond, Easy Rider - it was a turning point and revolution in the world of music, politics, television and cinema.

And for some odd reason of a sort of escapism from the the depressing images of that war and the youth's contempt of the establishment, the most popular movies at the time were "Spaghetti Westerns" (cowboy movies made in Italy) saw the genius of Sergio Leone who turned an unknown, unemployed American actor wandering in Europe into the biggest superstar at the time, of course everybody recognize him now -Clint Eastwood.

But another actor, and ABC (American Born Chinese) and the only Asian actor to break the boxoffice all over the world was an aspiring Chinese actor, disullusioned with stupid ethnic bit roles as a funny Chinaman, returned to Hongkong co-produced his own movies and reap millions all over the world. Hollywood took note and Warner Brothers rolled in the money to produce one of the biggest box-office success of all time, the now classic, ENTER THE DRAGON. And the now legend and icon is no other than- BRUCE LEE!, one of my idols of all time!

He is a multi-millionare after barely 5 years after the launch of his website. What does he do? He developed a website, originally in Canada then the United States and it may have now expanded in U.K. and Europe as well to hook-up married men or women on line to have extra-marital affairs.

Another ad quotes, "For women seeking for a love affair - and the men to fulfill them" has sounded like the apple from Eden to a great number of women who have signed for membership and will probably outnumber the men.

It just boggle the mind that nothing is ever sacred anymore in today's society-everything goes!

I mean the whole idea itself is to invest in a sin against the 3rd Commandment, "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife" and the 7th (not sure), "Thou shalt not commit adultery" are two mortal sins that will send you straight to hell forever! I'm starting to sound like Oral Roberts!

Not that I completely embrace those biblical words entirely but I just don't know where we are all going. Why do men and women have thiese dangerous liasons? Something they don't get from their partners? Revenge? Or plain lust and adventure! And today women have also found more individual freedom, the empowerment of women, now proving there isn't much difference between men and women anymore with regards to affairs. The vow to respect and obey, in sickness and in pain, til death do us part - yeah right! Statistics in the province of Quebec, Canada have more unwed couples than married ones.

I do believe men and women lusts and fantasize other than their partners
everyday, except to act upon it - is the crime! Is it?, just on his site alone, there are almost 2 million members having an affair. I think Moses is gonna come down again with a new set of tablets to break soon!

A friend of mine have tried a new drug called CIALIS, invented by the French (who else!), advertised as a guaranteed 3 day hard-on, which may come in handy on a planned long labor day weekend with his wife up north.
He said it works, he said for the first time his wife had "multiple" as he usually has the problem of "prematuring"! The only thing is the damn thing won't go down!

Haven't played golf this year and season is almost over. The sport is really getting expensive. It costs about $60 just to play an 18 hole, and these aren't even the elite golf courses, plus the cart, for those lazy to walk like me, plus of course the beers after the game or during the game. The equipments alone could cost thousands of dollars for those who are really into buying the top brand clubs as Pings, Taylor Mades and the Callaways! A trip to the driving range now cost $12 for a basket of about 50 used golf balls. Even used golf balls are being sold at almost a dollar each at the golf clubs, mostly picked up for free from hundreds of golf balls lost in the woods and the water hazards in the course.

Anyway, the cost of golf balls escalating to new highs have caused the cases of frequent stolen golf balls from people trespassing their way inside the golf courses and collecting the strayed balls and reselling them, which prompted one of the local golf clubs, to finally post this Notice:

What's a grown up man like me posting animated Disney films for? I really haven't seen many animated films except of course the early Disney characters of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, Casper, the friendly ghost, Popeye and Speedy Gonzales (who?-to my young friends don't laugh!), the famous cartoon characters when I was young, until when my daughter was young we went to see the original Lion King movie and I was blown away! And until today, it has left me a lasting impression as one of the greatest movies ever made. First, the story of the film is so much about life itself, survival, deception, going the wrong path, finding the right direction and most of all, I think the role of a father, even from a distance-always on guard, protective of his children. And all this told in a humorous and simple everyday vernacular, with amazing artistic illustrations with the absence of modern digital effects nowadays, which makes it even more precious for me and the amazing soundtrack was simply
beautiful. The actors did top-rate dubbing, Earl Jones, Whoopie Goldberg, Jeremy Irons
and the rest were just fantastic. A beautiful movie, I can watch it over and over again! - "HAKUNA MATATA"

He lives in New Jersey, just a mile off the Holland Bridge connecting it to Newy York City. He got up 5:30AM each day, two slices of white bread in the toaster, slaps in his marmalade jam, drank his perculated coffee, at 6:30 he catches the subway, crosses the Holland Tunnel on his way to the World Trade Center in New York City. September 11 will be a special day for him, finally after 10 years of devotion and hardwork, he will become a full associate of the firm that day. He's got big plans for his wife and 3 young children, they are all going to Southeast Asia for vacation that winter. He is an Asian American, his kids will finally see where their parents were born, see the faces of grandparents, uncles, cousins they never met. They are also planning to move to the upscale suburb, they have better schools and neighborhood there for the kids, the place they presently live now, has turned into a rough neighborhood of gangs, drugs and crime. They will celebrate the promotion tonight.

He did not come home that night.
